I'm fixated on my opinions, and unless you give me good reasons not to believe in them then it might change. -Anyways I've seen the YBC fandom say "The anime was made without the authors consent, and in the manga they are adults so its not cp", first of all even if they were adults in the manga, it is still rape. Second of all they aren't adults in the manga and are 16 years old. Third of all, who told you that the anime was made without the authors consent? If you don't know the anime was made with the authors consent. "But the legal consent age in Japan is 13?" Yes it is but it still doesn't stand up for rape, now lets not normalize rape, okay? -Lets not make Boku no Pico jokes and give new anime fans Boku no Pico as their first rec
The age of consent in Japan can be *as low* as 13, but it isn't 13. Japan's prefectures rarely go as low as 13, the majority are 16-18. Also you're right about BnP, thats old, time to step up the game with Otokonoko Delivery. 2 reply
YBC is so problematic. Like, even ignoring the ethical issues, the manga is just boring. Regarding the "age of consent in 13 in Japan" Does that really actually matter? It may be legal in japan, but people should be using their morals to decide if it's actually okay that way. Lots of wrong shit was legal before, and it only changed when people star...... reply

While it’s true the lowest age of consent in Japan is 13, most places in Japan place 15 as the age of consent as 13 is truly fucking young. In the Philippines, the age of consent is 12, and if you were to ask any Filipino about that they would be fucking horrified.
