im pretty sure its not just me but
i really hate it when the author of a manga randomly includes romance in manga where the main focus of the story is action/fantasy or something like that, idk why. it just turns me off way too much.
I was reading a psychological and thriller manga and they added romance into it like what? It's in there for fan-service because she's used for "weird" scenes. And the author made the protagonist blush and act all shy around her when just the moment before, he was disposing of a body? reply
I KNOW like I've read some horror stories, and romance always seems to be the main motive. I like romance as a genre, but sometimes I want to read a nice pure thriller, like save me. There was zero romance in that one and it was the best thriller I ever read. reply
yeah you're not the only one who feels like that I don't mind romance in an action/shounen series (or something along those lines) they just need to build up the romance in a good away instead of just deciding to throw it in just because they want to have romance - an example of that http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/juujika_no_rokunin/ -

same tbh, most fantasy/action manhwas show romance out of nowhere so it seems like it's forced and doesnt even contribute anything to the plot. it's most likely just filler and fanservice but it still ruins the manhwa for me. but there are some that show fanservice subtly so i can handle that reply
