truthfully i don't know why. i started out by reading yaoi dj but then I started reading actual mangas and it kept going like this, naturally I grew up addicted to it. Some of the plots are exceptional, some characters are unforgettable, the sex scenes are beautiful. but it's just like any manga. no specific reason why I read this specific genre. reply
Because most of it have great plot with a good mix of sexy scenes. Unlike straight smut, which are mostly trash and always fetishizing women, and the mls are always ugly looking dudes with a ridiculously long dick. (tho there are still quite a few straight smuts that i like, ex. Lucia, The Blood of Madame Gisselle, Under the Oak Tree.) 2 reply

The storyline. i would read normal hentai if the plot was good, but it’s usually just plain porn. while yaoi has that mixed naughty naughty with the good shit too.
