how were your guys experiences? my parents were supportive at first. then they unintentionally said insensitve things to me and abt other LGBTQIA+ ppl. then thought i was being influenced by social media te be gay
Idk I grew up in like a really like supportive school community kinda thing, and we were all like chill about it since forever. My friends and I were just havin a talk about sexualities and stuff and I just brought it up and no one thought differently reply

my parents just knew, yk ☠️. my friends I told, and my family discovered when I introduced my first gf, they didn't really like, but it's none of their business and my parents are okay with that reply
So basically I put a pride flag that I painted myself up on my wall and it only took my mom three days to ask about and it went something like this
“So on your wall. . . . is that some kind of gay flag”
“ yes and no.”
“Are you gay?”
“ Nope, I’m bisexual.”
“ okay just had to ask.”
