It's because living people realize that how much the dead person meant to them when he was alive and how much better they could've treated him well . Then out of guilt and regret they respect the dead more.
Its better to respect peeople while they are still around and forgive the dead without any resentment ..... At least that's what I think :)))) reply
I mean I do respect dead people but I respect them the same as they were alive cuz, y'know what is it gonna do if I will respect them more if they're dead?
