I totally understand and I'm fine living with no friends or lovers. I have my family though and sometimes it worries me because I know they won't be forever. Anyway, I'm just happy when I'm alone. I don't feel the need to be surrounded by people.
In your case, not-so-close friends (the kind you speak to at school or work) would be nice, but no lovers. Lovers are annoying.
