How do people enjoy love triangles?
I hate love triangles in general.
The feeling of rooting for a character when it's clearly obvious that they are just going to be a plot point for the main characters makes me extremely depressed.
Even if I'm not rooting for the 2nd lead, it still makes me sad knowing that this character that I have read 50 chapters about has strong feelings for the mc and has this sad backstory and how the mc has changed him etc. will just be left alone in the end.
Love triangles make me depressed because I spend so much time on these 3 characters but I know that only 2 will get a happy ending.

I have a huge hate love relationship for love triangle type of story. But mostly because I enjoy the drama and want to be in pain because I usually end up liking the second lead than the first one.

Yea specially that one manga/manhwa/manhua with 2 male leads and a female lead thrown there. Like bro, the 2 male leads date together and is in a secret relationship and then the FEMALE F*KING LEAD STEPS IN AND FINDS OUT ABOUT IT AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP ENDS AND THEN ONE OF THE MALE LEADS ENDS UP WITH THE GIRL LIKE EXCUSE ME?!? I can't stand triangles because at the end of the story the couple always becomes FL and boy I wasn't rooting for. It's so frustrating. If I see more than one guy on the cover I generally don't even think about reading it. I can't stand reading a manhwa/manga with the knowledge that one boy will be dumped at the end. There are exceptions of course ...... reply
I despise love triangles especially when you get this nice girl and then the basic two male leads of the rugged gangster bad guy type dude and then the sweet nerdy guy and then she somehow winds up with the gangster guy because he saved her at one point LMAO and it's always " he's so much nicer than he seems" also I never understood why you would...... reply

but i guess it's the suspense? or ur like me, and want to be heart broken when the mc breaks up w second lead lol.
then again, people read it for the plot, like true beauty. or, that's the case for me, since i don't rlly read things for just the relationships
