Help if u can
I'm hoping y'all can help me cuz I have no one else to speak to about this, so Im an art major in college and as much as I love art I'm not very good at it I feel like I won't be achieving as much as my sisters and I was wondering what other college majors you recommend that. I'm little anxious about my future and where it's going
I don't think you should measure your life by somebody else's ruler. You are you, and shouldn't compare yourself to anyone. It's normal to get anxious or worry about the future, but ultimately I recommend to do something that you love and enjoy. You'll spend 40 years working at some job, at least make it something you genuinely love. reply
I have a friend that studied art and now she owns a store where she sells art supplies and sometimes she teaches workshops for kids, so if you really like it you always can find a way to make a living of it reply
How about choosing courses that has still an involvement of art. It's still better to choose courses that has something ur passionate about.
Like Archi, Civil, Fashion or Culinary ..
I like arts too. I want to study fine arts too but yea the thought of heavy competition while searching for a job after grad.
So i chose Education majoring in Foods. ...... reply
I think you need to decide whether not being seen as a success or following your passion is more important and which path will make you happiest. Also if you can find an artistic career that is stable but maybe not as artistic as you might have hoped that might be a good thing to explore for example art therapy. But you shouldn’t compare yourself...... reply
