Alright, we’ve all seen it by now, Lezhin’s tantrum they threw today. I was wondering what y’all’s opinions on it were— personally, they made some valid points but it was incredibly unprofessional. I’ve never seen a company, verified account and all, handling things so much like a 12 year old who’s parents grounded them. Just curious to hear what others think of this, and I’m too afraid to ask Twitter because bitches are scary on there lmao.
Again, authors honestly deserve better platforms to be writing on. What lezhin's been doing is highly unprofessional. No ones gonna pay for their prices if they A. Don't even give fair pay to authors and B. Charge so much. If you wanted people to pay, you should at least give fair prices and not throw tantrums infont of everyone speaking on behalf ...... 1 reply
Hmm? What happened on lezhin? Edit: From what I saw, the author of blind play was really pissed at users of illegal sites and literally flipped us off..But I can't really blame them lmao 2 reply
Although I see the authors' frustration with having their work stolen.... the way they responded was really bad. Lezhin is a well known company, they could have worked with people to translate the works into more languages. It would have been a good business opportunity from them, to have the works available to more people.

honestly why cant lezhin support ads so readers can watch some ads and then receive some coins, and there's a daily limit so if you want more coins you can buy more

they have the right to complain about illegal readers, but they gotta know that won't stop millions of people from reading/uploading them on illegal sites no matter how much they try. so instead of tweeting about it like professional companies do /s, they gotta manage the security of their app properly lol. 1 reply
