Why do we put our Ocs through so much pain? Like I know we could be representing real-world problems and stuff but GODDAMN WE NEED TO GET OUR CHARACTERS AWAY FROM US- don't even get me started on angst and character death. why do we even make that sad shit ?
i started giving them sad life stories when i got into sci-fi. kids being separated from family. losing the people they love. I made one of my Oc's fall in love with someone and hve them die, then they relive that same pain meeting their partners twin. I just like sad things ig.
