Are there isolated people in your batch?

I’ve read tons of stories about isolated, picked on mcs, with no friends for their whole school life trope. Do you know people irl like those? I’m curious cause I haven’t seen anyone like that in my whole school life. Like sure, there might be people who prefer to stay alone but they still have friend groups or at least one friend or classmate to talk to during breaks or in class that they hang put with. And I’m not talking about those “go with the flow” people who you don’t see belonging to any friend group but talks to all friend groups occasionally. I’ve never seen anyone that detached from the batch.
