I love yaoi because a man can experience his lover in two ways (even if they only choose uke or seme). But just seeing men being so passionate and their reactions to how they think never cease to amaze me. 1 reply
Personally, I prefer yaoi over yuri. I feel like my sexuality has a bit of a role in this as well. Since I'm bisexual with a stronger preference towards guys, I guess I do find greater interest in yaoi. However, there are some yuri's I do find interesting and cute.

I prefer yaoi, but I'm not against yuri. I try to enjoy it sometimes. Yaoi arouses me way more because I think naturally as a girl I lust for male private parts. And boy love just seems more intriguing than girl on girl love. If I weren't mostly aroace, I could go with either sex. Lesbian porn is more of a turn on than yuri. Yaoi. Most of the yuri I've read seems directed towards the male (porn-viewing) gaze instead of the female one, where yaoi is the opposite. Yuri tends to have the unrealistic chests and behavior that I can't stand. If there was yuri out there as well-written and drawn as yaoi, I'd probably read it as much. But it just isn't there.
