Doraemon was the first anime that I watched. I was so little that I couldn’t remember what age precisely. It’s on television every sunday and it’s still running until now. I remember watching sailor moon and dragon ball too. 1 reply
Netflix was a weird place back then so my first anime was a weird ecchi anime with a frog-like creature and a girl that travels through a fountain naked to get to protag in another world. I still don't know how my parents didn't know their seven-year-old child was watching that. 1 reply
My first anime was Toei's "The Little Mermaid" which came to the States on VHS in the late 1970's. My mom rented it for me at the video store and I was totally enchanted! I had never seen a cartoon like that before. I still prefer it to the Disney version. I've enjoyed anime ever since. 2 reply
