i just finished watching banana fish, apparently its sad. Is it supposed to be sad? lmao i think im broken, did i miss something??? ╥﹏╥ idk. Did yall cry when you watched it?
I cried for about four days intermittently, and I refuse to rewatch it for additional trauma, but I still slowly murder my heart by saving pictures of Ash, Eiji, and Shorter on the regular. It’s been about a year now, and I still cry about it.

Didn't cry either most animes people tell me that are sad and will make you cry never make me cry like Anohana and angel beats ,didn't me me feel sad one bit.I cry at animes that have a lot episode like naruto and one piece because you get to spend more time with the characters. reply
I didn't cry, I didn't really feel anything either, even though I knew what was gonna happen. Maybe it's because I knew beforehand it was an adaption of the series from the 80s and the trope of gay people dying was still very strong, maybe I'm just built different.
I was genuinely perplexed at how people found the series sad after finishing.

lol tbh I kinda forced myself to cry to that because I felt like I was supposed to, it was sad but it wasn't sad enough to get me in a fit. Idk why, it just wasn't all that for me. reply
