well heres mine, As a fellow army im kinda sad saying this but...BTS is getting overrated,their music isnt what it used to be anymore,its like they are changing their style to fit to the western standards.I get that they are trying out different genres but it just doesnt fit them and their music style has changed too much,dont get me wrong like i think Black swan was one of their best works and the ones before that like the bst era and the dope era was fucking awesome but nowadays their music is just plain and with release of their new song "butter" my opinion is just getting more and more harsh.i love my babies but their music is so plain nowadays.
i dont like 4th generation of kpop, they're becoming younger and younger. props to them for achieving their dreams, but they shouldn't be working that hard at such a young age bruh and also a 99% chance that there will be creepy fans sexualizing these kids is very disturbing 1 reply
I find the blatant infantalization of idols more off-putting than oversexualizing them. I get thinking they're cute and having moments where we can't help but uwu over our faves but some of you hoes be treating these people like they're children who lack maturity and are in constant need of protection by their fans e.g. Jungkook. it’s just boring tbh, and I feel like everybody only goes to see them not their music. I just think kpop in general is overrated right now. i also wish that Americans and such would stop trying to steal Korean culture. (⊙…⊙ ) reply
As an army, I actually agree with you. However, I have this theory that their company Big H- I mean HYBE are the ones behind all the English comebacks and promos, as all sorts of strange things are starting to happen when the management changed, such as GFRIEND leaving out of the blue.

Tbh I like BTS’s Japanese songs more also, I agree that BTS is getting way too overrated. I’ve been with them since 2014, and they are my babies. I’ve listened to their music as it released and streamed it constantly before, but I guess I outgrew it too? And I won’t be friends with other army just because we both like BTS. I hope you don't mind that these aren't about kpop idols/ groups but the kpop fandom.
- I hate it when some people attempt to gatekeep a kpop idol or a kpop group from someone just coz they're just recently introduced to the industry. anyone can like any or all generations of kpop anytime they want.

I agree with your opinion. . because of BTS I fell into the kpop-hole and I have been with these boys for past 5 years when BST was released. It was mesmerizing and but now it just I'm starting to lose interest in them. Sorry to say this I didn't enjoy their new song 'butter'. I really do miss the good old days T^T
