ive been in a closet for many many years and i live in a very conservative country and so are my friends and family, but the more years go, the more i feel in pain and i dont want to lie to those who are precious to me. i wanted to come out to my friends but again they are not very open minded about gay people and just today i had a homophobic conversation....ugh idk what to do... i love my friends so much tho and ik they love me too. but i never have told anyone ever that im queer even though all these years. it hurts a lot i cant do it anymore
leave 'em. that's all i can say, its prolly hard to cut connection w the ppl u knew for a long time, but if u stay any longer it might considered as selfharm, some ppl these days still cant accept the lgbtqia, but some other ppl welcome them, i hope u'll meet people that'll accept u in the upcoming future 1 reply
um you should probably leave them. its going to hurt more once they find out, and start spewing their homophobic bs to your face, and plus you should surround yourself with people that don't dehumanize you, and make you feel comfortable and excepted. that's what true friends would do. 1 reply
