For a long time, all I read was yaoi but now I mainly read your basic "I died and was transported into another world" type of thing. I don't actually like romance anime. Anyway, I don't really think it's too weird reply
I'm a gay person so I feel included and represented when I read bl or gl but that doesn't mean I don't read straight romances but just not as often. I don't get to express my sexuality in real life because of the type of people I'm surrounded with so this is the only way I can be myself. 2 reply
im not a picky reader so i read anything i can find. and tbh its fine if u got tired of reading straight romance, other readers get tired of bl too, takes a break and reads other genre. i think it becomes a problem if u like bl (esp. for the smut) but then u cant stand gl or stories abt queers reply
I can read and watch anything as long as it's not cringe, cliche, and doesn't have too much second hand embarrassing moments. I prefer horror, mystery, psychological more than anything. I love anything to do with sports too.

Finding your niche and preferences in reading is like phases/seasons..
One time you like straight romance, now you focused on BL... We are people, we change constantly and our taste & preferences are building up our views and enjoyment. As long as you do not shame other genres while you have preference on your niche... You are going to be fine..
