straight A students, HOW THE F*CK—
Bruh, so there I was all happy that I raised all my D’s and F’s up to B’s and only 1 C, and then I here an acquaintance of mine complaining that they had a terrible grade in math. I was curious cuz math is the only non free choice class (electives) that I had an A in, so I asked what the damage was. THEY WERE SAD AND DISCOURAGED ABOUT A B+, but like concerning-ly sad.
SO NOW I AM HERE TO TELL YOU STRAIGHT A STUDENTS OUT THERE A B+ WON’T HURT YOU ITS OKAY TRUST ME, KEEP ON SUCCEEDING, but like please chill ( ̄∇ ̄")
Too my fellow people with eh grades (grades ≠ your value as a human being or how successful you’ll be in the future :p)
I am a straight A student, and though I cannot speak for everyone, my parents have high expectations for me that I have grown to have the same expectation for myself. Although it is true that a B+ might not hurt, it hurts those that needs a specific class rank for scholarships, financial aid for colleges, or qualifications for certain programs. One...... reply

bestie, I don’t even try in school. my mom is a fucking genius. I just think that when I was in elementary I was pretty focused on my grades but then it kinda evolved to always wanting a high grade. I still don’t study though. Σ( ̄□ ̄||) reply
i get the highest marks in my year but still i kinda feel like they're all just flukes yk? kinda like an imposter syndrome or smth-? bc i dont study at all but still get As (the equivalent in the uk is 1-9 grade system) but if i got anything less id probably be disappointed in myself too- i can see why your friend got discouraged reply
we don't even have As and Bs it's just 1-9 (if you get below a 4 it's a fail), the 4 is meant to be really low right- but in our school, they raised the 4 to 60%.

Well it's just that I'm a straight A+ student and I don't study that much either . Just concentrating in class is enough but for some unlike me who does study hard , they may have contributed most of their time to their study and they may have high expectations of themselves like of course who wouldn't if they had gave their best . So just trying t...... reply
i actually no choice but to have straight As. why? cause i have been a straight A student ever since i started school, so people already have high expectations for me especially when my parents are kind of prestigious here.
so if i have a B or a C, people around would be highly disappointed and would compare me to others. since i'm emotionally se...... 2 reply
I'm a straight A student but I totally don't feel like one.. out of the students with straight A's I feel more average than anything else. The effort I put in is really nothing compared to others but I don't want to feel left behind so I try however I can to maintain my grades. I can totally understand how your friend feels, when you have expectati...... 2 reply
