Why are breasts so sexualized?
If breasts are not sex organs and they exist, just like in other animals, to feed babies, why are they so hypersexualized? I believe in the past, ancient women did not need to cover up their breasts. When a woman in public breastfeeds, why is it seen as gross and something that should be hidden? No woman is trying to flash herself, just trying to feed her baby, and even if she covers her breasts to breastfeed, why is still seen as taboo? And one last question, why is is okay for a man to not cover his chest but it's not okay for a woman to not wear anything covering her chest? Are breasts really that taboo?
Because religion and men

bc (straight) men sexualized them.
Yk what I find funny?? Some men even have breasts/man-boobs too bc of their weight yet there are no sexual connotations associated with THEM when they go topless. There is equally nothing wrong w women having their breasts out, but everyone considers it taboo and it’s public indecency to go out without anything...... 1 reply
I believe this is mostly a cultural thing. The "logic" would be that men are sexually attracted to breasts and they should be hidden as to not provoke a man. This slowly made them a taboo. Just like how some cultures/religions are more strict on how women dress. A female's body is generally sexualized.
all of this is a form of opression. Men go ou...... reply
As a female myself I don’t want to see you feeding your crotch goblin with your boob. Sorry if you feel oppressed by that not my problem. I personally don’t want to see that while I’m trying to absorb nature at a park or something. 3 reply
