No, I am not I feel that if I were to hide something about myself especially something I enjoy I wouldn't be very true to myself.. I like what I like and though it might not be what others find socially acceptable it is not for others to decide. reply
I don't necessarily hide that I like anime (though I do keep my interest in yaoi/shounen ai to myself), but I definitely went through a period right after high school, where I had a large group of friends who also watched it and we could discuss it together, and into college where I did keep it to myself because I was out of my comfort zone.
