"Gay" Best Friend
My supposedly "gay" best friend, said that, they're gay because gay people are funny. Of course, I thought that was fucking stupid so I asked if he has any interest in guys. He said he doesn't want to date any guys, but do want male friends, and I'm just stuck being confused. I don't want to lose our friendship by saying he's being rude, because he gets real defensive whenever I say shit like that, so I don't know what to do, help??
ill just drop my opinion here, being gay bc it makes you funnier is def not right, and op should try to get their point across their 'gay' friend but then we get to the whole 'being gay means you like the same gender' like op have you actually interacted with gay people? i dont wanna pull the 'i have gay friends so ik bs' but ill pull it anyways si...... 2 reply
Make him know that gender is never, and will never be a joke. A lot of people were having a hard time going out of their closets, because they're afraid to be judged, and then your friend, or whatever that shit is, was saying he's GAY because GAY people are funny? Let's say he is your friend, but if he goes out telling other people he's gay, he is ...... reply
idk about this but gay people can be assholes too, being gay doesnt excuse the shitty things they do. heck, some of them are even sexist as fuck, but if your friend really is pretending to be gay, that's messed up. reply
There a gay marry a lesbi they had a baby and their life is in peace :)
Anyway if ur a gay it doesn't mean u want to date a guys they had reason for not dating guy.. So ur gay best friend is looking for male friend as a "friends". From what i can tell how u explain it..
