I was super skeptical of it at first and refused to watch/read it, mostly because of the fandom (I had a bad experience with a couple of JJBA fans…but honestly they’re not as bad as the Haikyuu or BNHA fandom).
Of course one day I ended up watching it for shits and giggles…and I actually ended up sort of liking it.
(This is purely my opinion) Ngl the story itself is kind of tacky and there are a TON of plot holes BUT that’s what makes it JJBA. It’s actually kind of comedic how many plot holes there are and honestly you can never take anything too serious in that show. The death scenes are either instant or too dragged out to the point where you’re not even sad. The show/manga is basically one huge inside joke (or as many of the JJBA fans like to call it, “one big Jojo reference”)
It sounds horrible really (I kind of suck at describing things), but once you get past the first two parts you’ll understand why so many people love the show.
The memes are hilarious…(the fandom is still pretty crazy, but once you get to understand them they’re lovable in weird way)…and in retrospect i actually pieced together the plot of the show through the memes before I even watched the whole anime.
If you’re looking for something to binge over the summer, do consider JJBA.
