Well i am sure that its generally just teenagers eho would be brooding over this,but im actually a 20yr old.no one except my sister remembered my birthday ,i have frnds like, a lot of them and if one of their birthdays pops out im the one who would call them first thing in the morning.am i immature to be sad over this?
People have different things that makes them sad so I would say no, but...
Personally I couldn't care less about people remembering my birthday, I'm 21 and to be honest I have only an internet friend. Imo it's kind of stupid to even celebrate it... It's just another day of the year, so who cares? I also disabled that option on FB to show your birthday because it's better to be forgotten than have people telling you "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" just because they saw this one notification...
Its sad that people forgot your birthday. Im glad your sister remembered! Whilst it is true i dont know a few of my friends' birthday, I would write down the dates of my close friends so i wouldnt forget (cause im forgetful by nature).
it happens to me too, my family are the only one's who remember my birthday (25 year old person here!) i do not have a lot of friends but it does sting a bit when folks you usually talk to just go over their day normally while you wait for them to simply say "happy birthday" ╮(￣▽￣)╭ as you age, maybe reaching your birthday is already something to celebrate about even with less people knowing it. as long as you're healthy and feel content with something... i don't know, maybe it's just me (￣∇￣") i'm not forcing people to remember my birthday though, i'd rather have genuine well-wishes - altleast your family remembers! anyway, i hope you meet folks who will soon be more attentive of such matters about you, you just haven't met them yet.
