Just accept it wasn't actually a joke. We know it wasn't.
And I know the response must be overwhelming but you can just acknowledge, apologise, learn from this, and move on. Everyone will forgive you and forget about this whole thing. You needn't make so many posts about it. reply
My sociopathic great aunt had a better apology than this.
