Do you listen to music while reading? What's your favorite genre to listen to while reading if so? Least favorite overall genre?
Ever since Jazz for Two (a cute BL) I've been hooked on smooth jazz for slice of life reads and other romantic stuff. I don't really listen to other genre's while reading but my least favorite overall would probably be metal with lots of unintelligible screaming~

I don't really on general. But sometimes when I read on wattpad stories I read with music on, and it's honestly anything, asmr mostly tho... the clean ones, of course haha.. *silently looks away* 1 reply
I listen to shit like Metallica, System of a Down, Korn, and Disturbed when I'm reading or doing anything. That's when I'm reading hardcore yaoi smut shit. But for soft bl, I'll listen to stuff like merry go round of life and soft instrumental music reply
Funny story about that. I was listening to Torch of Liberty by Kana-boon while reading a chapter of Solo Leveling one day and the two were so good I couldn't focus on either. So now I don't read and listen to music anymore. But that's just me lol. 1 reply

My favorite band so far is “Machine Girl” and “Sewersvlt” I don’t really know the exact genre since I switch up my music at random times.
My least favorite would probably be country I think... reply
it depends, for each specific book/manga etc if there's a certain song that clicks, it'll be that books song from now on. if im reading something royalty, it'd be one of those royalty core playlists or smth, but otherwise i just listen to whatever on my mind reply
