I hate most ships
So, does anyone else here get inherently grossed out by ships that aren't created/presented by the author/mangaka of the manga? For whatever reason, I don't read or watch any anime/manga and ship random folks together and anytime I see anyone do that, I get weirded out. I don't reallllly understand why it bothers me, but I think I take the content for what it is and going outside of those boundaries has always bothered me. I'm not one to criticize anyone for it though, I've never treated or talked to someone badly over it. (Although, when ppl ship actual human beings, that infinitely bothers me soooo much more)
Oooh that's pretty interesting tbh. I'm someone who ships characters together whether they are canon or not for my own interest ya know. I want to see what would happen if those two characters got together and if that will change the story. But I can see what you mean. Especially if the ships are outright disgusting, like in BNHA people actually sh...... 1 reply
I do ship certain things, but not hard and I also don’t let it get in the way of my interest towards the actual show. The only ships I won’t tolerate are illegal ones, anything else is genuinely none of my concern and isn’t hurting me so I don’t let it bother me. Yes I’m that way too... it gets worse when the character has a literal significant other and the crazy people decide to threaten the authors to change it because whatever garbage ass ship they made wasn’t what the author planned for that character. i only ship FICTIONAL(never irl) characters that have genuine common interests and/or are seemingly compatible together and would make a good non-toxic couple.If the character has a canon partner I’ll tend not ship them with anyone else but their partner. reply
i dont mind headcanon ships, i even find them entertaining, but i hate when shippers shove it to people's faces and even bash people for not shipping their ships like "joking" that the creator/mangaka is homophobic/racist etc for not making their ships canon, insisting that this one character isnt straight/gay because they had this interaction with...... reply
