I did the get locked out thing

So, I'm trying to be better about health, and have started cooking most, if not all, meals except for the occasional cereal meal, because let's be real, I don't want to cook at 6 am.

Anyways, today, while I was cooking, I heard a dog yelping, and it sounded like it was in pain. Naturally, I grabbed my phone and marched out onto my back balcony thing that some apartments have, I was gonna video it and submit to police. Unfortunately or fortunately, I didn't catch it because they didn't seem to be actually hurting the dog, though one did make some very aggressive moves towards it (will be watching that house bc omfg, you beat an animal, you deserve to rot).

But anywho. I tried to walk back inside. Surprise, surprise, door lock, I can't get it. I'm doing the whole "wiggle the door in hopes something happens" move. BECAUSE NEITHER OF MY ROOMMATES ARE HOME. I called them both and one came and rescued me after an hour of being locked out.

Damn I'm glad it wasn't raining and damn I'm glad my roommate was willing to run the 25 minute walk to campus all the way back to our place.

I'm inside now and couldn't be happier. Toodles~
