there was this one time where i was on a ride at an amusement park. there were three of us and i took the middle seat. so you kind of expect yourself to get wet after the ride, but i didn't realize that there was going to be water sprayed towards us halfway through the ride. instead of protecting myself with my bag, i protected my bag by myself (if that makes sense, because my bag is not water proof it was very dumb of me). i was confused as to why i didn't feel water at all after a few minutes, which turns out to be the guy in front of me protected me from getting wet by shielding me with his bag. thus, making himself wet and fully exposed. it was sweet. he didn't have to sacrifice himself for me like that though lmao
