EDIT: thanks for explaining it to me. Honestly, it did seem like a harmless joke, but having younger girls genuinely worry about their health because of this isn't very funny at all. I also meant to add that there were young girls genuinely scared/worried about this not happening to them and that neurodivergent people often can't tell tone and were asking if people were joking, and people lied to them(which is ableist) reply
So I don't what you were talking about so I did some Google research about the period peeling and It's was kinda creepy and I was think like what If that happened to me but turned out it's was a joke reply
