I remember my first manga very well! I think it was only four or five years ago that I started reading manga! Before that, for as long as I can remember honestly, I've been watching anime. I got super into Fruits Basket a few years back and the end of the anime just didn't cut it for me. I had heard about manga before and knew what it was, and had heard that it even carries on past where the anime ends often times and I just knew I had to try it. I had to know who she ended up with!! It was really difficult and confusing to read at first, I was not at all used to the reading things right to left and knowing where on the page to read first and then continue reading to... But I was really happy I did it because that kick started my manga reading spree which is still going on to this day~. Thank you, Fruits Basket~!
I actually started reading manga not so long ago (less then a month ago) , and i've been going at it for like non stop without sleeping
although like you fruit basket was my first manga because of the anime I did stop there (felt like I didnt want to read) "what a lazy ass"
I don't know why I started again but the other first was " bitter virgin" then I stopped again
then I was watching a yaoi animes and one that I liked was junjou romantica and superlove which made me crave for more and now I can't stop reading yaoi manga ,and I found out that I quit enjoy reading so Im going to read all the mangas where my favorite animes stopped!
now im kinda obsessed and kinda a unhealthy obsessed kinda way
I feel you! When I first got super into manga I went on a very unhealthy binge and read SO MUCH. Now, years later, I try to find some manga to read and end up realizing I read it before. I really should've kept track somehow.. Haha..

true true , Im trying to update my manga list but due to me feeling that I have no time because im binging so much I read like over 50 manga's and put them in a folder "finished folder" for when I have the time to update it , but even now I end up reading something I read thank god i have bad memory so I can enjoy something again exept those really good once that I don't forget I want to read them when my memory starts messing up again xD
