2. Send them a message
3. Write them a note
4. Buy a pride flag
5. Pretend that you already told them and just correct them when they use the wrong pronouns/name (optional: come out to your friends first, and they can help with this)
6. Do what I did (coming out as nonbinary) and just tell them (optional: cry a lot as well, because ...... reply
You should probably tell them when you have your own place so they can't kick you out or something. Maybe like show them the agender flag so you don t have to say it directly. Or maybe say "hey I heard my friend came out as agender (or what they generally think of agender people) what do you think about it?" And maybe see what there reaction is if ...... reply
