Netflix Strikes Again...
So we all know that Netflix original shows can be a huge hit or miss. This time, Netflix posted a trailer of their new show called "Q-Force". Essentially it's an animated series about LGBTQ+ secret agents. The premise doesn't seem too bad at first glance until you watch the trailer. Personally, I found it horrible due to how many stereotypes are being presented. I would like to know your opinion on it, since there is a divide over what is considered good and bad representation.
They just needed to create characters who happened to be apart of the LGBTQIA+ community. But, instead of doing that, they created stereotypical homosexual characters who based their whole entire personality off of being homosexual. Great job, Netflix. reply
This made me cringe. The fact they showed gays as guys with huge lips and feminine voices and saying "My little butthole went boop" was cringe and seriously stereotypical. Like it's fine for guys to dress like girls but it doesn't mean that they are gay. These people can't seem to move on from the whole "Man and Woman are the ideal couple" thing so...... 3 reply
Lmao I was waiting for someone on mangago to find that shit I think they tried to be like Helluva Boss in the sense that most of the characters are some part of the LGTBQ+ but instead of making everything normal and have them act like regular people they decided to exaggerate a stereotype which everyone knows if you’re going to do a stereotype yo...... 1 reply
