Fan service
I don’t know if this is just me or if anyone else thinks this but I am just so done with fan service mainly in action/adventure/fantasy manga like it’s just so repetitive and annoying like at least come up with something new and I hate when they have it when it’s just unnecessary to the story like there is just no point of having that fan service and just they way the girls are portrayed is just so off putting cause I’m just getting tired of it :/ maybe it’s because I’m a girl but yeah….
I kinda don’t mind it if it’s an extra chapter (doesnt affect the story) where the author flexes their drawing skill, but yeah, fanservice that’s so unnecessary to the plot is annoying

If its added just to be 'titillating' (ba dum ts) it can be a bit of an eye roll.
If they 'upgrade' existing characters it's my least favourite kind of fan service and is annoyingly obvious.
If its done well with some satire and fun it can work. Or if it is done with a character that uses their sexuality as a weapon (sexually empowered/ strong/ c...... reply
Tbh I'm kinda fine with it but when it's over and over again, for like half of the series. I drop them immediately, idc about development and plot twist I'm done. reply
Main reason why I hate harem and didn't really enjoy jobless reincarnation as much as others did. There are a lot of ways to promote anime, while fan service is one of them I don't think it's the best that's out there. It fathoms me how almost 80% of anime in general have some type of fan service. I don't know if I feel like this because I am a gir...... reply
