I think that there is not much chubby manga because Asians are mostly small like if you go to the clothing stores in Japan the clothing will be smaller than American sizes I don't think Asians find larger people nasty or anything it's just since in women it's not very often you come across a larger woman in Asia (japan, korea..etc) so is very rare to find chubby manga since it's not many Asians who find an attraction to larger characters since they don't see any larger people
yeah, this is pretty much it since im also asian. small/petite is the norm here so theres barely a size that will fit most westerners, and not just when it comes to body shape but also for height too tbh esp in my country. we're so fucking short, its annoying
