Opinions about body positivity movement
Idk if I'm being controversial or rude but I think body positivity movement is for everyone skinny People , fat people , people with disabilities , people with body dysmorphia , burn victims etc etc but I only see fat/obese people saying everything is fatphobic even not wanting to be fat is fatphobic and saying skinny shaming doesn't exist I don't know much about fatphobia because in my place fat=beautiful and skinny=skin and bones people make fun of me for that so whenever I see fat people saying that skinny privilege is real it makes me sad I'm not trying to make fun of plus sized folks you're all beautiful but only those who think that body positivity movement is for fat people and fat bodies are only normal bodies
Skinny privilege is a thing, it very much is. While skinny people can still get shamed in society, there is a huge difffence between being just shamed and having this whole phobia around your weight. skinny is the beauty standard but it’s not to say they don’t get shamed for it. I was both skinny and fat in life Bc of my ED. I experienced what both would say. yes both is a part of body positivity but obviously being skinny is the standard. and fyi body positivity movement started not because all bodies are beautiful and should be appreciated. it was designed to focus on marginalized bodies, fat and disabled bodies who are victims of oppressions. skinny ppl can be part of the movement but not at the fron...... 1 reply
to me it's as long as you are healthy you're beautiful you don't have to look like the miss world but you shouldn't be unhealthily thin or unhealthily fat. reply

I believe that as long as you are physically healthy it doesnt matter what you look like. You could be a little chubby and be in amazing shape but be model thin and be majorly unhealthy reply
