BL as a genre is inherently heteronormative and objectifying of mlm people for non-mlm people's gratification simply because of the intentions that brought it about in the first place, so it shouldn't exist for anyone to read it at all to begin with, rendering whether not women should read it to be a completely meaningless discussion.

People of all genders should be able to read whatever tf they want if it's legal. Bl, Gl or straight, I don't really see any difference between the 3. They're all fiction and mostly a bad representation of actual relationships. reply
Consume, read, eat whatever the fuck you want, but be aware of what you are taking in. I can't literally force someone to stop consuming one media or another but they should at least be aware of the consequences/thoughts regarding what they are taking in..?? I've said this already before, and I'm gonna say this again. There is nothing wrong woth women reading bls. It's time for everyone to treat it just like a normal romance story. It's 2021 already ffs. Reading bls, gls whatever else kind of story that is lgbtqia+ centered shouldn't be taboo anymore. reply
