Not a serious attempt

Ok this is actually a funny story. Back I was 9, I was super mad at my mom one day (she probably stopped me from doing something stupid and spoiled 9 yrold me was NOT happy with it). So around nap time I decided that I had enough and would kill myself to send her a message (apparently I was also a drama queen). Our room had curtains with these fabric tie backs that were long enough to wind around my neck. I sneaked out of my bed, crept past my sleeping parents, and attempted to strangle myself with one of them. As you could probably deduce by now, it didn't work, bc 1) the tieback was too low to the ground and I grew tired of bending my legs so I could barely hang back-and-forth like a monkey, and 2) I suddenly realized that it was so not worth it. Gave up after 3 minutes, went back to nap, never told my mom about it. Now every time I had that urge to end my life the memory just popped up and made me laugh. Not worth it y'all.
