Why do you read/enjoy BL/yoai?

I wanna ask because I wanna find out why I enjoy yaoi over straight romance, I think I like to read BL/Yaoi rather than straight romance because I don't want to read about a girl (I'm a girl). I like men, so I only want to see men when reading romance...? idk really. However I do enjoy straight romance if the girl isn't to girly or unrealistic, such as manga/manhwa like "Positively Yours", "Guilty" and "Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku". I'm not girly so maybe that's why I like thoses story's? But than again I do like girly boys in BL soooooo... idk.

I find that I enjoy yaoi just as much as I enjoy straight romance. Same reason for me pretty much, it also depends on the characters and the plot itself. Some people don't like reading romance at all, and some people do. It's just how it is I guess. Everyone has preferences with characters and their characteristics as well.
