Do you think media that is targeted towards women often hated more?
I had this conversation with someone, and they were saying how shoujo/josei were inferior to shounen/seinen. Guys like stuff that has, quote on quote, "more story than shoujo since women only like shitty romance", end of quote. Same goes for stuff like Kpop that is often shat on for similar reasons as well. Not the first time I have seen and heard stuff like that.
it's just blunt sexism. They can't handle seeing something that isn't targeted towards them. Anything "girly" is inferior to "manly" stuff. That's why they always be hating on "girly" things for absolutely no reason. Not to mention they shit on women who have interest in hobbies or work considered "manly". reply
