I've been reading BL since like 2016, way before it started blowing up on social media. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing that it has, but I'm curious as to what everyone thinks about BL and Yaoi becoming popularized on Tiktok, IG, etc..?
I mean I get some good recs ngl but the downside is illegal translations shouldn't be exposed so publically & I've seen a lot of tiktokers/etc do that.

I don't mind cause now I find edits easily and can talk about it with other ppl BUT I hate how ppl romanticize toxic shit, like when they always defend the top even if he's a total piece of trash only cause he's handsome. Like ppl genuinely think that Seungho, Caesar, Jaekyung, Taejoo... don't deserve the hate they get when they are such toxic bast...... 2 reply
