what do you think about romance in action webtoon
does anyone else feel like sometimes the reason people complain so much about romance in action or shounen webtoons is so that they can imagine the mc ends up with another male character and make it BL in their heads
i mean i understand some fls are drawn to be damsels or himbos and the romance takes away from the plot but the passionate hate is something
This question comes up a lot. Once again yes some people want bl in action, but like you said, for the majority of ppl really is bc the fls are written and drawn so offensively. No, the women are highkey just hot mannequins with big tits. The authors always give them one dimensional characters, with no role other than to make the mc look like a dude who gets 'bitches'. I love romance, I love a GOOD romance. I just hate the usual fanservice or haremish Elements of most action webtoons. I'm also tired of "forced" romantic-subplots between the only woman in the group and the MC. I like romance, and I do consume them a lot, but kind of not in genres that don't revolve around romance. I feel like the romance ends up overtaking the plot a lot of times and I just end up hating that. It's really rare for me to enjoy romance in actions. Personally, most of the time I don’t want a romance when the story is mainly action or shonen because shonen authors can make good plot but in romantic relationships? Not so much and I feel like they never experience falling in love before and I’m worried they’ll dumb them down for the sake of more intimate or growing romance and it doesn’t...... reply
I just don't like any romance in my action webtoons/mangas/Manhwas, I read it for just the fighting to just see people getting their heads smashed in, seeing all the different fighting styles as well but not for romance since there is many other genres for that.

If the women were actually well written, had a personality and not treated as objects by the authors then I'd be more open to having romance in these kind of works.

I just don't like how they made some of the matches as a weak person and some love interest are just annoying all together not all of them. Also most of the time its unnecessary, i fr don't ship alot of mc's to others
