I was over at my parents house and my order brother (24) also lives with them. He stays with our parents because he doesn't study and is unemployed. He does have gone through a surgery and recovering, but that ain't a excuse to just sit at your parents house playing games without studying or working and be extremely unhygienic.
Basically everything is fine, I'm in the living room watching TV. When suddenly he calls me to get mom. The smell that came from the room what the fuck. It was mixed with his really bad body odor and something else.
Turned out the place of his surgery leaked blood and splattered all over his room. Don't worry, this isn't exactly dangerous, he is just extremely unhygienic and careless.
So I'm here feeling getting sick because I get nauseated really easy. Plus I saw the room with the mess.

dude alla sudden i remember my mom deepcleaning my little brothers room earlier this year and she literally found EXPIRED FOOD and it was so dirty and moldy and sticky for some reason and he had alot of useless stuff in his drawers and im pretty sure he probably has food crumbs on his bed
That's gross. Usually my mom washes the bed sheets once a month. And sent me a picture of my brothers bed sheet, it was black where he lays on. MilkShiki

Sounds like an awful experience for you and your parents but re reading this it seems like your bro might be suffering some kind of depression when a person stops caring about their personal hygiene like that and locks themselves away like that those are signs of depression it might be good if your parents seek some type of mental help for him. It all lines up the lack of self care, the lack of direction in his life the anger issues and he's got some sort of trauma in his life hope he gets help and hope things end up better for you and your parents.
Yeah, he does have that issue. You see, my parents try to help him so much but he doesn't put effort. But he is also just bothersome, like stealing mom and dad's money or call me to send him money. He didn't go through anything traumatic, even so. Also, I'm not a kind person when it comes to these things because I was never allowed to express my emotions in my household, but my brother can.
Is it possible to threaten with kicking him out of the house?? Obviously when he's physically able to take care of himself. I'm not trying to get a guy who can't even walk properly be kicked to the streets.
Trust me, my dad was thinking about doing so and dragging me back home. ( I'm the youngest living by myself). Bro has been saying he will move out soon after recovering but he isn't trying to recover.
He doesn't want a caretaker and he is really dependent towards our parents. Plus he has anger issues and he is a headache to deal with. His tantrums are so childish, like how he gets mad whenever we tell him he smells bad and needs a shower
