bug crawled while sleeping

I just had a centipede crawl up to my arm while I was sleeping. the scary thing is that I wouldn't even notice that it was there if I didn't unconsciously touch my arm and have it accidentally grab it while it was curled. this is one of those things I'm fucking scared of: a bug/insect crawling up to me while I sleep. I threw it out of surprise,disgust, and fear that it would stop curling itself and spray me with its  acid or bite me; I should have killed it for peace of mind. It's 1:51 am, and I'm about to lose hours of sleep overthinking about it coming back to me.


edit: tbh, this wasn't the first time a bug crawled on me while I was asleep. while I was about to go to sleep, I failed to kill a cockroach. the next morning, I woke up with two big bitten marks on my hands.
