How to make friends at college
Bruh I’ve been struggling finding friends at college, I just have like 2 classmates that I talk to in class but no after class yk. It’s literally impossible to make friends here, specially bcs I’m a commuter so I don’t have dorm friends neither. My first language isn’t English so it is also hard to talk to people in English because of my strong accent, and everyone has their group of friends already so it is too late. I can’t join any clubs because I work and I don’t have the time, plus these clubs at my school are so uninteresting that it doesn’t even make me want to join. The school is all white people (no offense) and I feel like it is hard talking with them. I’ll just spend this 4 years of my life alone cuz damn it is hard.
The secret sauce to making any friends is:
1. Do a thing regularly and consistently. This can be something like going to the gym on specific days at specific times, going to a cafe on specific days at specific times, doing a sport/walking at a park on specific days at specific times etc etc. For college students, this can be attending office hours...... reply
