I feel like everyone here only likes the semes... wELl i'M diFFeReNT because I actually prefer ukes (づ￣ ³￣)づ (or sekes, I like sekes) BUT my favorite character of all the yaoi I've watched/read is actually the seme from Junjou Romantica, Usami Akihiko:
My favorite used to be Misaki, but over time I decided I like Usagi-San a little bit more (⌒▽⌒) (He looks so serious in this photo XD)
I like all three. I could be seke with a preference for uke, but I don't think I could be seme all the time. As for individual story lines, it really depends on how the character is written. I love aggressive ukes.
In my case it depends on the story and personality of the character them being and uke or seme doesn't make a difference. But If I had to pick I would say I love Manly ukes, and semes that look like an uke and if is couple with this characteristic I just think is hilarious and adorable. A seme like from Kawaii Akuma and an Uke like from Risou No Koibito or Elektel Delusion are just adorable.
