question for people who read manhwa/manhua on here
Do you ever plan on actually buying the chapters from the manhwa/manhua's you read? or do you not really gaf and don't plan on paying for a webtoon? or, do you read some of the story on here and pay for some chapters? orrr do you read the story on here and debate whether or not you want to pay for it? i do see people that feel guilty for reading on websites like these, due to them being underage, or not having a job. but i also see others who just don't really care to buy the chapters and could care less about paying for a webtoon. i'm genuinely curious on different peoples opinions, seeing how the discourse on this varies on different platforms and forums!
I read here cuz I got no money but if I rly rly like a story then I buy a copy when I can. Tho there are some stories I like that haven’t been published as physical books yet which is a shame

im underage and got no job so for now i dont plan on buying nothing, i do get some chapters watching ads on tapas and tappytoon but i dont plan giving a penny to lezhin now or ever. in the future hopefully I'll buy some. reply

Honestly the thing with me is very complicated.
I like mangas and manhwas a lot, but physical copies in my region are very expensive. And online ones as well, since my country's currency is weak. However if I have money I'll buy official versions. And mangas or manhwas which are available on webtoon, I'll read them on webtoon only most of the time....... reply
The only manhwa I've ever paid for is the first two volumes of Solo Levelling lmao. I don't really feel guilty about reading stuff illegally tbh, but I do try to support authors/artists when I can. Like if something gets an official translation on webtoon then I'll start reading it there. Unless it's behind daily pass fuck daily pass.

Not really. I’m greedy with my money that’s why I go to sites where I could read mangas and watch animes and movies for free so I wouldn’t waste my money on something that I won’t be interested in the end. I’ll buy a physical book if I really loved the story tho, sadly the ones that I like are not well known so… 1 reply
