Question
Genuinely curious since I just read a manga ab soulmates and reincarnation. Listen, let's say there's this two lovers/soulmates who promised together forever, and then one of them is an immortal while the other is not. Ofc the bitch died. So this supernatural immortal being, since their souls are connected, when he felt his lover get reincarnated, he immediately searched for them. But his lover is still a kid.
Here's the million dollar question: Is it grooming if the immortal already built connections with their soulmate, with the intention of being with them in the future even while they're still a kid?
I don’t know what story you talking about but grooming means that a person is caring for a child in order to fuck them in the future. Unless your character have that same mindset, it’s not grooming.
If the immortal isnt anywhere near the lovers life as a kid or sees them once in a while, or show no romantic feelings towards the lover as a kid t...... reply
Yes.
They have the intention already, when the intention of dating a child when they grow up and you stood beside them hoping they'll like you as the time progress, that's grooming.
It's not like a "oh its them. they're too young, I'll just watch them grow from a far" scenario or somethin. Dont get me wrong tho, that kind of scenario still cree...... reply
Question with a lot of dimensions but largely, I would say no. Love doesn't simply have to be romantic. Even when you do romantically love someone, you can still feel platonic feelings for them that doesn't have to be limited for romance. Like, let's say you see baby pictures of your partner and think that it's adorable. It doesn't really mean you ...... reply
This was in seven deadly sins and also briefly touched upon in 19th life. It's more common than you think, and people tend not to have qualms about it. It's hard to judge if it's moral because neither immortality nor soulmates are real, but I do find it a bit odd. reply
HELL YEAH!! YOU KNOW WHY?? They don't remember SHIT!!! And even if they do, they're still not the same person!
Imagine waking up and suddenly memories of your past life starts to appear telling you you're an ex-soldier who lost all his limbs and had to return home in shame for failing to defend his country. He later falls in love and lives in a fa...... reply
the intention plays a very important role here. if the intention is to just take care of that kid like strictly platonic/familial type of care without the goal of being their partner then it's alright. since the intention here is to be romantically involved with a kid, then yes. it is grooming reply
You've just summed up every Seven Deadly Sins defender's #1 argument/question. Congrats. Go see what they have to say and I bet you'll make up your mind on the answer. reply
