Its an expression to suggest how awful a thing is to do that even they wouldn't put their worst enemy through it.

I think it's an exaggerated way to let others know how bad that experience is. Also there's just some stuff that most can agree are too much for anyone to go through. reply
it rlly depends on what they did to me. however there are some things that i don’t think i could bring myself to wish upon anyone, it’s just cruel. i also think i would just end up feeling really guilty, not worth it reply
I think when people say out loud "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy." inside their mind is "Okay now I need to make that even worse for my enemy." reply
