Question for weird ppl who read Jinx
I'm not talking about the general readers here but some of the 'readers' say stuff like jaekyung's awful, rapist(which he is) that they can't bear to watch the rape and all, then why do they keep on reading? Moreover it's not like Jinx is the only rape yaoi they be reading. Jinx is popular asf I get they would choose to yap here for attention but it's been a goddamn year. Why are they still here? There are even weirdos saying they hate jaekyung but love dan so they read. So you saying you enjoy reading dan getting raped? I remember weird readers of Painter of The Night yapping similar shit like that. Why don't they just admit that they like reading Jinx or they can't help but read it because of the good art(which plenty of other yaois have) or whatever the reason (or they like watching their cutie patootie boy getting raped and thrashed) or just stfu and read? Nobody cares what they read but saying they read Jinx cause of dan is weird. If they wanna yap so bad just say rapist jaekyung be castrated end of story. Why make excuse with dan. Not even half believable hypocrisy that is.
i just stopped reading it in general cause i hated him and well i hated every character ngl.. (i guess not dan tho idk)
like im not sure how jinx gained popularity, though it could be because the character designs are good and maybe it's because of the author (they made BJ Alex) but im thinking its because most people probably like it.

people can read whatever the fuck they want even if they hate it. "don't like don't read" can be applied to fanfiction authors or whatever, but for bigger writers, it's a shoddy excuse by fans to distract people from how the story is bad. reply
As a full on Jaekyung/rape apologist in yaoi hater, I get what you’re saying but in that same vein, you could like not read the comments? The hypocrisy you’re complaining about continues with you. 2 reply
thanks for asking, this has been on my mind a lot too
based on the answers, looks like people form communities around collectively hating something.
Problem is that the space for people to hate-read Jinx is the same as the space for people to enjoy-read Jinx, and usually the comments are dominated by hate-readers, making it hard to chat with other...... 1 reply
Those fans who complain about the toxicity of Jinx and still continue reading it are just so stupid, if you hate it so much, then stop reading it, cease the demand, then the author will probably change the tone of the story too, afterall, it's their livelihood, they just cater to the readers' demands. Stop giving hype to that kind of trope, bad pub...... 3 reply
