Your opinions on AI?
with AI rapidly increasing, do you believe it'll take over the comic industry? would you read a manga/hwa/hua made by an AI? (This is assuming that it WILL get to the point that it's almost impossible to tell between human and artificial work.)
personally, I wouldn't, as an artist. my dream is to make a comic and get it out there, and it's saddening seeing some lifeless computer spew out art that takes humans years to master. comics have this human touch to them, the small details and expressions that make them so amazing. I don't think AI can replicate that. humans are unpredictable and interesting, and stories made by humans are intricate on a level AI simply cannot comprehend. Anyway, that's my view!! what's your view on AI?
I'm not really in for Ai generated images, and personally I don't think it can replace an actual hand drawn comic mainly because it can't retain that specific artsyle. But even if in some point in the future AI can do that I'd still refuse to read a story made with AI images, they just lack the passion and emotions that humans have. The strokes and...... 1 reply
Nah I wouldn't read a manga/hwa/hua made by AI cause'
1) The art is shit and steals off of artist's artwork and it'll look uncanny. There's already a webtoon made of ai and looks like shit
2) The plot will not make sense especially the dialogues
